Workshops & Classes
Virtual or in-person
Some of our favorite people are lifelong-learners. While we are not going to tell you how to do your art, we will help you build out the business side of your creative endeavors. We can bring the following classes to your intern company, board, staff, university/college classroom, or a community of artists:
Financial Literacy 101 (for artists!)
Fundraising 101 for art projects
Ignite, an eight-week business planning seminar
Social media: messaging and tactics
Artists in the Marketplace (AIM) - four week marketing strategy course
Grant writing
Or let us know if you need something more custom.
Community.
Opportunity Arts offers extended workshops on working WITH community (not to or for). These can be stand alone workshops or a series of workshops. These offerings center equity and respect.
In addition to training in this area, Opportunity Arts also consults on cultural planning, community engagement by using art as a vehicle for empathy and shared identify, and economic & workforce development program designs that honor artists and small businesses.
