Classes & Workshops
Our classes and workshops have been designed with the artist or arts manager in mind. We understand your unique challenges. And we understand your unique offering to this world. We love working with art collectives, service organizations, art centers, art studios, colleges and universities, museums, and any organization interested in providing their community with lifelong learning in the arts.
HATCH: In its original iteration, Hatch was designed to be a "long form" workshop that met one weekend per month, for four months. The course can also be adapted to hone in on modular themes (i.e. community identity, planning & art, asset-based community design, etc.). Modules can even be updated or refined to fit your learning environment needs. It's a great program for cohort learning. Very hands on.
Financial Literacy 101 for artists is a 90 minute or 3 hour workshop. The focus of the workshop is to help artists understand tools to make an art project budget. We discuss artist fees, cash flow, profit and loss, and other key financial, business concepts.
Social Media: Messaging & Tactics: a three-hour workshop that helps artists and arts admins get at the root of making meaningful connections: communication. Click for a complimentary PDF with helpful social media tips!
IGNITE is an 8-week business planning seminar. Ignite follows a modified Business Model Canvas planning template that centers the creative offering or art product. This class is a comprehensive research and goal setting course.
