Let’s Talk About Tax is a 3-hour workshop designed to help take the frustration out of understanding common tax issues that affect arts workers and small arts businesses. Presented by Roshanda Naulls and Phillip Buelterman, of Aprio (see below for bios), this course will cover common questions artists have regarding deductions, in addition to different types of corporate structures and the tax implications of each.

Meet the Facilitators

About Roshanda M. Nalls, CPA:

Roshanda is a manager in Aprio, LLP’s Advisory Business Services group.

She has experience preparing individual and business income tax returns ranging from simple to the most sophisticated returns. During her career at the firm, Roshanda has gained extensive experience in the professional services and entertainment industry. She works to develop lasting relationship with all of her clients.

Roshanda graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BSBA in Accounting, along with a Minor in International Business. She is a licensed CPA in the State of Georgia.

About Phillip Buelterman, CPA, MAcc:

Phillip works with clients in the Professional Services area and specializes in medical, law and engineering. He also serves on various internal boards for Aprio including the Community Involvement Committee.

He has attended many professional conferences expanding and developing both his technical as well as his soft skills. He is very active with the GSPCAs where he serves on various task forces including the society’s Leadership Council. He has also authored an article in the society’s “Current Accounts” magazine.

Phillip attended Georgia Southern University where he received both his bachelor’s in business administration as well as his master’s degree in Accountancy.
