The Role:

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to assist with marketing duties for Atlanta’s 3 Venue Marketing Managers and 1 Digital Marketing Manager.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Coordinate all publicity requests including press releases, solicited stories for upcoming events, day of show photo/media requests

·       Coordinate the maintenance and updates of press and contact lists (radio, televisiion, print, web)

·       Compile and send press releases, publicity materials and photos to writers, editors and other promoter partners as directed

·       Assist the in-house graphics staff on print ads, flyers, postcards and posters for upcoming shows. Order promotional materials. Assist in distribution channels of said materials.

·       Assist with and collaborate on creative marketing/promotional plans with local Marketing Managers

·       Assist the Premium Seating & Special Events departments with ongoing marketing initiatives

·       Contribute to show and non-show related marketing projects and initiatives

·       Assist with Social Media coverage during office hours and doing night-of-show coverage as needed.

·       Build ecards, newsletters, SMS broadcasts and other outgoing notification on behalf of the Atlanta Marketing Team.

·       Multi-tasking for multiple venues and channels at once is vital.

·       Additional responsibilities as directed by Marketing Managers.

 

Qualifications:

·       2 years of experience in marketing. Music & live events are ideal

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills

·       Ability to work select day, evening and weekend hours based on the needs of daily business operations

·       Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)

·       Maintain a positive public/professional attitude at all times

·       Social Media experience for a brand
