College Audition Workshop I - Focus on Prescreens

You are amazing. Show your skills to your best advantage.

Have you ever wondered what your audition panel is really thinking?

Gain useful insight from seasoned coaches and vocal professionals and hone a winning audition at PACA's College Audition Workshop.

What small improvements will place your performance at the top?

This immersive experience  is primarily designed for high school students who are preparing college auditions for degrees in Musical Theatre or Vocal Performance, BUT is ideal for anyone prepping video auditions.

Our panel of judges consists of industry leaders and college professors with experience and varied backgrounds who are thrilled to advocate for your success.  .

In this workshop, students focus on various aspects of the prescreen process. They will meet as a group to discuss general ideas, and then meet in small groups with specialists. Classical singers will discuss technique, language/diction, and stage presence. Musical Theatre singers will meet with choreographers, a monologue specialist, and a professor of voice. All students will also address slates, learn how to pick their best take, and receive advice on how to present their best audition package.

This workshop is a fundraiser, and as always, all proceeds go directly towards providing scholarships for singers in need.
