Wild, Wet & Wooly: Wet-felting for Puppets & Masks!
Monday & Tuesday, March 25 & 26 | 7pm-9:30pm
MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS
Explore an off-the-wall process involving pool noodles, bubble wrap, soap, and elbow grease as we turn wispy bits of wool into a durable textile. Together we will examine how ancient processes of working with wool can be used to make modern puppets and masks with vibrant colors and endless possibilities. Be prepared to get a little bit wet and soapy. NOTE: those with wool and/or lanolin allergies should avoid this workshop.
LEVEL: All levels | Ages 18+ | No prior experience required - some prior experience working with materials is suggested--you will need “elbow grease” (some physical effort)
CAPACITY: 15
